• Thank you for this article. It is outstanding in its stupidity. Just one example: “He had a donor base of people who "ministered to Him of their substance (Luke 8: 2-3).” Your conclusion: Jesus was rich. The only intelligent conclusion: Because he was poor. This kind of logic reminds me of your fool of a president. Is there no limit to American foolishness? May the Lord be merciful and grant you the grace of sudden understanding!

• I disagree with your position and am opposed to the taking of life. Your argument is unconvincing. Jesus would execute a sinner? Interesting position. My opposition to the death penalty is primarily it is rooted in the imperfectibility of man and man's judgement.

  What about the parable of the lost sheep, and how the shepard left all the other sheep to find the one that was lost? Who spiritually pays for the murder, when an innoccent person is wrongfully executed. Does the community commit a mortal sin in this instance? Would we not be consistent with the parable of the lost sheep by not executing the 99 to save to 1 that may be wrongfully accused. Recent DNA evidence has more than shown that community murder is possible. If we really trust God's judgement, why can't we wait until judgement day and treat the sinner compassionately in the meantime, and be very careful that we do not commit community murder?

• These are equally compelling reasons not to execute criminals. The argument that it cost to maintain them? Well, render unto Ceasar what belongs to Ceasar; God what belongs to God. Perhaps in this instance what belings to God is our example of compassion, redemption, love, and forgiveness. And trust in God's final judgement.

• I just wanted you to know that your page would be a very helpful tool in helping me and others to explain things to the lost world who have the same old excuses as to why they don't need or have Jesus Christ as their Saviour yet. However, my one question is this: Why don't you use the KING JAMES VERSION when you quote scripture? Some say that the other versions are easier to understand. However, the other versions are taking some very important things out of the KJV or changing them in such a way as to change the true meaning. I know, in the long run, that is not going to help make things easier to understand. It'll just make things more confusing. Anyway, don't mean to knock what so far appears to be a good thing!
